This is the view from half way up the mountain looking back into the beautiful Lithgow Valley. Notice how steep the mountain is and how long the trains were in the olden days. Today there are not so many carriages as they only carry passengers and are used for tourist purposes. I am sure that anyone who has the opportunity to venture along this ingenious line will not forget it. It surely is one of the wonders of Lithgow, there are many more.
